Customs clearance

Why does every company have an import-export department and import-export officers but still need customs declaration and clearance services from customs declaration service providers, also known as customs brokerage ?

There are a few reasons we need to agree that it's a matter of efficiency. A company specializing in Customs declaration services, making several dozen declarations at the same time a day will be faster and more effective than a single company making one declaration.

Firstly, the advantage of quantity helps companies providing Customs declaration services, also known as Customs brokerage, such as DH logistics, to provide the most optimal cost of goods handling. 30 declarations/day and it's the same every day is a quantity advantage like wholesale versus retail.

The second is about distance and speed . Companies providing Customs declaration services, also known as Customs brokerage such as DH Logistics, always have officers on duty at sites to answer and react to questions and requests from Customs officers. officials at that area because they need to monitor and make many declarations at the same time. All bottlenecks and delays need to be eliminated otherwise a whole series of declarations will be delayed and affect the entire chain behind.

Third, save resources for customers. Providing reasonable costs from working in large quantities and regularly has partly saved the cost of declaring Customs procedures for businesses when working alone. In addition, for established shipments, customers will benefit from the experience and knowledge of DH logistics' professional staff. In addition, customers do not need to send import-export officers to complete Customs declaration procedures for one or two single shipments lasting 1 to 2 working days, but only need to prepare and send documents for DH logistics and everything is carried out professionally and methodically, 1 day for yellow and green channels and 2 days for red channels.

The process for customs clearance of goods is carried out as follows:

 1. Receiving shipment document

Receive the document file that the customer sends (soft file or original set of documents). The set of documents includes:

Commercial contract

Invoice / proforma invoice

Packing list

Bill of lading

+ Các chứng từ khác nếu Hải quan yêu cầu

2. Checking the document

Check whether the information on the documents is complete or not, cross-reference between documents to ensure the information is accurate and consistent. If there are any shortcomings, the customer must be asked to supplement or amend them.

3. Submission

– After checking the completeness and validity of the documents, start making electronic customs declaration, print the declaration to send to the customer to check the accuracy of the information again, then correct it. How to submit declarations using software and wait for the results of goods classification.

– After receiving the channel categorizing results from the system, depending on the results received, proceed with the next steps:

+ Green channel: Print declaration, prepare to complete tax payment and customs clearance procedures.

+ Yellow channel: Present documents for Customs inspection.
